Once, this really nice couple that we had done a lot of work on, brought us in these yummy cookies from a really nice bakery. It also came with a really sweet thank you note. I also liked to get hugged from patients that we did cosmetic work on.

I worked ER dental, I had a patient so petrified of dentists she did not believe we wouldn't hurt her. She needed implants and teeth pulled, root canals etc. she was a mess and I had to to reassure her everything would be okay. I would hold her hand during anesthesia, and procedures. She couldn't believe how pain free it was compared to other dentists she had in the past. Well- we finished her after a year, that Holiday season she invited the whole office over for a thank dinner. We all had a great time! God rest her soul . We all still talk about that wonder gesture.

We have a "premium" bakery in town. The wonderful patient asked each of us what our favorite donut or pastry from that bakery was. We thought she was going to pick up a half dozen - one of each - but she brought in a stack of six boxes with four of each favorite in it.
Mostly, a nice heartfelt note that acknowledges the efforts of the entire team is a great thing to do.
Or, I've always wondered what it would be like to own a Ferrari......... Just be sure to include the first two years' maintenance as part of the gift, though.
