Windows XP. How to delete items and icons in control panel.

Its because I have something I never use as, AC3 filter, Digital Camera settings, wether service, Sandra system information, etc
I will not touch the windows standard icons.

Why do you do it? Those icons are from the windows system files. You are not supposed to delete them.

You should not be wanting to do that.. but if you insist, right click on the icon, and choose delete. All of those icons control different functions in your computer.. unless you have inadvertantly saved a file there, I would leave them alone.

Maybe try "Add Remove Programs" in the control panel section. Select the program that you wish to remove from a list of all programs available (it takes a while for the list to be populated sometimes) click the change/remove button. That should help with unwanted programs.
