I understand how you feel. I'm 18, the middle child. I work full time and I'm a full time college student. Pay all my bills, car, car insurance, cell phone, student loan and other expenses. My older sister is about to be 21 she has no job, and doesn't go to school, and my parents still give her cash. I don't get a cent from them. It hurts. But in the long run they will see how successful you are going to be and one day they will say that they are proud.

Maybe they have issues of their own... Do not let that keep you from being proud of your accomplishments and striving for more.
Maybe they ARE proud. I've known parents to BEAM with pride and brag to others about their kids so much it is practically nauseating, but they just don't know how to express this to their children. They talk to everyone ABOUT you. They just don't tell you about it.

sme times parents have so high xpectations..dat u just cant satisfy em no matter wat u do ...
its better do as much as u can...u just cant be a whiz...can u ?
dont put urself thru so much pressure...
btw...r ur folks indian ? cos majority indian folks want their kids 2 excel...in everything...
