I couldnt keep my cat gumdrop anymore, we were moving...so my good friend offered to take him..so i thought he was being very nice ..so i let him take him for me, thinking he would be safe...it turns out that...(one of my other friends told me)...that my god friend that took the cat taped it to the backboard of his basketball hoop and played a game with the cat hanging ther, and after they ate it. No I am not kidding, does this make me a terrible person, and what should I do, I need some advice.

Do you mean one, whom you "thought" was your good friend? I personally think that, either your other so called friends is lying to you, or you have a very poor choice of so called friends, and you need to be more aware of the behavior the crowd displays that you hang out with, you ought to know what type of characters you were hanging with. However, whats done is done, and if it is true, all you can do is thank God you escaped with your own life, from those heartless criminals.Forget them! Choose friends with better character next time, pray that God will give you true and kind friends in your new neighborhood.

If this is true, you need to call animal control or the police and tell them the story. This would warrant jail time for animal abuse. It does not make you a terrible person as you thought your cat was getting a good home..If your friend would do that to an animal, a child might be next..call before something else happens to another animal or worse yet a child..you would be a terrible person only if you did not call the authorities.

It does not make you a terrible person at all. Your remorse is misplaced. You took a chance when you gave your cat for safe custody, it misfired, did'nt work. Think no more about it. Forgive the friend who ill-treated the cat. If the story was a tale carried, and not true, forgive the other friend. Forgive yourself for the chance you took. Start off again on a clean slate, as far as cats are concerned.

I think you are making this up because you are not mad and upset and haven't reported him, beat the crud out of him or thrown up from thinking about the poor cat being so mistreated and eaten! Yes you are terrible for thinking up this awful stuff!

I'd like to put your friend on a bat and use him and then feed him to the cats. He's the terrible person and you'll be terrible as well if you don't tell your friend he doesn't deserve to be called a human being!!!

Its not your fault that your friend is sick. You thought it was going to a good home. i would make sure that they arent joking with you and then report them to your local humane society or animal control. That is wrong and if you care about your cat you will report it. At least some justice will be served.

if you are not kidding and this is true in which it does not suprise me cause people are cruel and wicked and will do anything for kicks even if it means taking a helpless life, then you need to report him for cruelty to animals it is punishable by law, friend or not, true friends dont do this when they are entrusted with something, so you got you scum for a friend........if this is true and do nothing i hope you can live with yourself..............
