Well, you just feel conscious of what you do during your sex encounter with your girlfriend. But you shouldn't be for as long as there's nothing wrong with what you are doing. I presume that your girlfriend is not married to anybody else because if she is, you really must feel that guilt inside you and that will really make you feel conscious whenever you do some sex escapades with her.
Just feel the satisfaction of what she does to you and show her that you enjoy every minute of it by reciprocating to her without any inhibitions inside you.

What part are you having trouble with? Letting yourself go during sex? If that is the case, maybe you should try sex while on vacation. Sometimes, getting away from every day life is what you need. If you dont have the time or money to get far away, just try renting a hotel room somewhere in your major downtown area. Make sure you are away from your home, job, family and responsibilities.
Also, try turning on music or porn while you are having sex. It blocks out other noises and thoughts and helps you to pay attention to whats going on right in front of you ;)

It is possible to love someone, but not be completely attracted to them. It's called chemistry... I'm not saying she's not attractive, she may be beautiful, but that has nothing to do with chemistry. When you have great chemistry with someone you do completely let loose, and intimacy takes on a whole new meaning. You love the way they smell, taste, and everything they do is a turn-on. There are many types of love, and maybe this love of yours is lacking the chemistry. You have to decide if she is the one you want to be with, or maybe you should test the waters and see what it is that you may be missing out on. You both deserve to be happy and satisfied with every aspect of your relationship.

just roll with it man. relax and be yourself. dont worry about impressing anyone. Awareness is a good thing, but sometimes you need to just, "turn your mind off". If you really love her, and she loves you it WILL work out, if it doesn't than perhaps it wasnt meant to be.
