I may be married buy dam n baby your hot. I don't know why any woman wouldn't make the first move. I sure would. Seriously if you hang with your boys its hard for a girl just to walk up and say hi. It's way to much testosterone

I don't think women are afraid to make the first move, I think we choose to let the man make the first move. Let's face it, I think most men like to do the pursuing, and I personally think we like to play a little hard to get. Men like a challenge, and we women like a man who can keep us on our toes. I personally like to know that a man is really interested in me before I go out with him, so ya see it's a choice to sit back, flirt a little and let the man step up to the plate. Don't get me wrong, it's good to be assertive and make a first move once in a while too, but that's not what we're talking about right now.

Not all women are afraid to make the first move.
However, just like other men, some women are unsure of what the intended person's reaction will be and that's just the normal fear of the unknown.

I suppose they're insecure. Of course, if you hit on a girl, then you might look desperate or weird, they don't want to risk that. It's too bad since us guys are not very judgmental and tend to forgive things like that.

Some girls just want to play mind games, however, and those ones are not putting out no matter what. They want to get a guy to step up to the plate so they can reject him; making them feel more empowered. Women love their power.

Of course, most girls are just shy and aren't expected to act that way according to gender roles, or so I've been told.

Sucks to be a guy! I, for one, hate making the move on girls, since I can never tell if they like me or not. I usually have decided if I like a girl or not before we even get talking so there's no risk with her making a move. Probably the same with alot of other guys.

i dont know...personally i think its because it makes us feel good when a guy makes the firt move, you dont have to worry about being rejected and it makes you feel good about yourself...like someone loves you...but i asked my boyfriend out and weve been together almost 2 years now and theres never been a problem so i dont know...maybe a self-confidence thing that us women seem to have...

We are not, you just havent come accross those who do and maybe you are always hanging with many guys which can be intimidating for some.

And as for Eizzel14 we have more balls than you and your army put together.
