to a certain extend, yes.

if you are comparing a thumb sized penis and a normal 5inches girth, of course it matters.

but as a whole, If size really matters, then, it would be for Girth and not length. see, a vagina is only 3 inches deep, so what's the use of having a dick of 7 inches and leaving 4 inches outside. moreover, if you thrust too deep in, the head of the penis will be banging the cervix and it will be painful for the ladies.

whereas for girth, the vagina is actually strechable and according to studies, a think one will exert pressing pressure on the wall causing all nerve endings to react to the thrust and thus increasing pleasure.
