i guess the correct answer is, whenever you are ready! it is perfectly okay to have a baby when you are almost or already 30! :)

First, I am sorry to hear about your condition.
It is hard to put a number out there because everyone is different. Also, you aren't married yet. There are tons of options, not only adoption. There is embryonic adoption (where your wife is impregnated by an embryo that was concieved during someone else's in-vitro fertilization session) for one example.
If you marry tomorrow, the only person who can answer this question is you. You have to know that you are ready.
You and your wife will need to think a long time before you adopt, and the process is often long. I suggest you talk to your girlfriend about this before you marry though, so she understands what the future holds.

I don't really know for a man but for me I am 26 years old FM and looking into adoption right now. I am trying to get my body ready to have a baby but I don t really have the other half to complete the job yet if you know what I mean. I am looking into adoption because I want to have a baby before I am 30. I think 30 is a good age to start having children. I just finished my degree in education and ready to be a mother. I will most likely have problems concieving as well because I have PCOD but I will try first before I adopt. It takes about 2-3 years to adopt and go throught the legal paper work so.... it is important to start the process before you get too late.

I think that 30 is a good age! If you get married at a younger age and she is willing then there is nothing wrong with adopting at an early age as well there are many child in the world that just need a home and someone to love them! Good luck and lots of respect!!!!

I think it is different for everyone. My husband and I are in our 20s...me being 20 and him being 24. We adopted out first child who is now one. and are expecting our 2nd adoption in october. We have been trying for 2 years and it hasnt happend. I am not going to the doctor to see if there is a problem with either of us, if its meant to be it will be. We have things in order and are ready to be parents. So it just depends.

I'm 25 and adopted my daughter 3 months ago, and she's only two months old now.

I signed all the adoption papers before she was born.

I love her.
