I'd been single for about 5 years. I do not know how to socialise with gals and dare not speak to gals that i fancy. I'm afraid I might turn them off or get rejected. I'm not especially good looking, neither am i ugly. Had 3 R/S in the past..

What do gals really want from a guy? are the 5c's really important to them? how abt a guy's appearence? Am i wrong to say gals tend to look at a guy's wealth or material possession (car) before deciding to be together with him? Ladies, pls give me advice.

Yeah, I ask gals out before.. but I had not been socialising with gals for some time. Even when I go clubing, I dare not appraoach the lasdies..

i want a man who doesnt look like he spent alot of time in the bathroom, but i do want a man that looks good (clean outfit, smells good, messy hair, clean shave). Money dont mean a thing to me, if i see a cute attractive guy in an old beat up truck, im not going to assume anything, except that hes working hard for his money, but if he looks and dresses like a bum, thats a turn off. I love personality, i love a guy that is always smile'n because it makes me think hes fun (even if hes not really) i love a guy that looks me in the eyes when i talk. I love it when a guy is confident because when they're confident they outshine everyone in the room, even if they're not the cutest. But i hate it when guys come out and say "wanna go home with me" or try to act like a player. we want a gentlemen w/ smooth skills, not a player wanna be.

I am not about finding a man with money or good looks. There are 2 parts to this. The initial contact, taking a chance and impression you leave. "Gals" are either friendly or b!tches. The nice ones will respond politely to most everyone and the other type will be rude to most everyone, so your chances are the same as anyone's to initiate conversation. Try taking chances. You can feel out the situation by asking for the time, but make sure you take off your watch first. (haha).

The impression you leave has to do with your confidence. You can't fake this. Women can smell desparation a mile away.
Ugly men, poor men, chubby men, stupid men, can all get a girl if they know they can. We have all seen it. I wish i could tell you how to do it but i can't.

For me, I see something in the eyes, and I know at that point whether to keep talking or politely break away at some point.

Basically, I think you should start to socialise with the gals by going out with them in a group gathering. You can tell the gal that you like her after going out with her for sometime. But you must be mentally prepared coz sometimes the girl may reject you. You have to really be prepared yourself and not be too possive. You can show her that you care for her by doing little things like buying meals for her if she didn't have the time to go and take her meal, bring her to doctor if she is sick etc. Gals are sensitive to these sort of things coz if a guy do this things to her, it give a very good signal to her already. Ok, well first of all, every girl has a different taste so I can't give you a straight answer on what the way is to attract a girl. But over all, if they're sincere, then it's important to relax, and find something in common with them, building off of that. Remember, being single is not a bad thing. I don't know what the five c's are. Stop using the words "fancy" and "gals" first of all. It makes you sound like an old fashioned sexist nerd.
To get to know a woman you are attracted to, find out her interests and try to share them. Engage her in polite conversation surrounding those things and interesting current events with the exception of politics and religion.
Ask her out for coffee or to a movie and don't show up looking like a refugee from a rag pile that has no idea what a razor, soap and deodorant are. Yes, appearance matters.

Well women like men that are intelligent but that doesnt necessarily men you have to be smart. Intelligence can mean you know a lot about boats or guitars or something. And women love a guy who can carry a conversation so talk about something you know about, maybe she'll think your smart. Also being respectful and courteous. I honestly think that you can win over any woman with your heart and what you talk about as long as it aint something stupid like peanuts or gasoline or something...lol but the best of luck to you cuz looks are only skin deep and in the end a woman would rather be with someone who understands her and is sensitive to her needs and knows how to talk about something, i know i hate when my bf ignores me and i always wish that i met a guy who know how to carry a conversation and just as long as you dont love listening to your own voice too much...good luck
