Hi! Okay here is my problem. I am 18 and I rarely get approached by guys my age. I am asked out by always much older men or I have guys that say they want to stalk or kill me (yah true story :/ ) lol anyways, I am sort of shy but not around my close friends. I love laughing and smiling a lot and I am always friendly to everyone I encounter. I am a Christian, so I have morals and apart of that I have decided to save myself for marriage. My best guy friends and people tell me I'm beautiful which I don't feel, I feel like I must have an arm growing out of my head for them to not approach me. I feel like the only guys interested are the old men or stalkers. What is wrong with me?? It seems like the meanest of people can get a bf/gf like that..why is that? I try to always be nice to people, but it seems like guys don't want the good girl. Is there something wrong with me?? Thanks for any advice :)

Ok let me tell u something....If u don't hang out with people at ur age then the older ones ofcourse will want u....if u do then nothing is wrong ur beautiful but just wait for the right guy he will come at the right time....Just wait and be paitent...Let me tell ya something....Im 18 too...no one hate me n im sure of it....im friendly...loveable...helpful...im everything that could be in one person n im sure of it...plus a lot of people say that im cute....i can send u my pics lol....And im not dating....but i belive that God closes one door and opens another....i believe that god will send me the right girl at the right time...so just wait honey...ur perfect and beautiful but wait for the right time.... :)

There is nothing wrong with you.
You may be projecting an image that is more mature than most of the 18 year old guys are ready for. As a Christian, you might concentrate on meeting guys who share your beliefs. In Christian youth and singles groups, you may find young men who share your morals and interest in marriage. Try to look your best, and don't be afraid to start conversations with interesting Christian men.

Maybe you are so pretty that your hard to approach, Somtimes a guy thinks he has no chance. Just be you and your day will come . Don't rush things or you'll regret it down the road. I'm older but I'm not a stalker nor would I approach a girl so young. People should stay in there age range. Good luck

you say your 18 and guys your age dont apporach you? they are still young and learning. im 23 and i know alot more about approaching women now then when i was 18. older guys have the confidence and know what to say or do, through experience. thats why you are finding more older guys asking you out. there is nothing wrong with you and there is nothing wrong with being single. you will also find that most people meet their partner through friends of friends.

nothing wrong with you at all....just a case of guys not being able to see what is staring them in the face....they're idiots from what i can tell (the ones around you)....then again most guys (not all) think with the head between their legs about 99% of the time....but its kinda strange....i see things in the same light as you....nothing i seem to do is right and all the undeserving people end up happy....so i've given up on finding a girl...but as for advice....stand by your morals, if the guy is worth it, he will respect you more for them...

Well from what i know is when ever i approach a gurl and get to know her, it turns out she is already going out with a older guy instead of someone of her own age like me. So from experience when ever you see a sute gurl its like she probably already has a boyfreind and he's most likely older then her.
I seen that through most of junior high school to high school to college

there is nothing wrong with you the right man will come don't worry...and those other jerks just want in your pants thats all sorry its true...just keep true to yourself and if you start seeing or like someone and they don't want to respect your wishes by waiting..honey they are not worth...there are lots of jerks and also there are true men out there just hang on your prince is coming may not happen as quickly as you like but he is there take care and it never hurts to pray about He knows what you are going through...

for guys your age you said the worst thing in the world.
yor saving yourself for marriage. guys your age are looking for sex first then a realtionship where older guys are looking for a relationship and hope for sex later.
and if you are pretty guys assume you have a bouyfriend so you may have to do the approaching.
