Cat crap is high in protein - because cat food it high in protein and it doesn't completely digest - and it smells and tastes good to dogs.

Al dogs will eat cat poop!! Or human poop!! Sometimes they eat there own poop!! Haven't you ever had a puppy that did that? I had to buy pills for my dog to take when it was a puppy to train it not to eat its poop!! And all my dogs will go after some cat poop when they go out for a walk, you got to watch them when they start sniffing the yard cause if they find it they'll eat it!! You just have to stop them!!!! If your dogs live inside and get in the litter box then you need to move the box up high out of there reach!! The cat can jump up to the litter box!!! Thats what i did, until i got my cats to go outside!! No more litter box!!

Unfortunately pretty much all dogs love to eat cat poop. I believe it has to do with the food that the cats eat. It is much richer than dog food and higher in salt so the poop tastes similair to the food. You'll pretty much have to keep the litter box away from the dogs or they will probably just keep chowing down. I know it sounds disgusting but we're not dogs so who knows what's running through their silly little minds. Good luck!

It's natural for carnivorous predators to eat scat of some other species. Those of us with livestock like horses, goats and chickens see our working dogs snarf up those poops too.
Urban sensibilities are out of touch with the wildness in our dogs sometimes. :)
For the cat poop snarfing, putting the litterbox into a closet with an opening just wide enough for the cat can help, or put the litterbox into another area where the dog can't reach.

wow, your dog eats cat dong?? that is amazing, you truly have to get some video footage if this is true. it's amazing that the cat will stay in the yard when the dog is out let alone allow the dog to get close enough to eat its dong. does the cat lay on it's back to give the dog access to it's dong or does the cat sort of arch its back and let the dog have access to the dong from behind?? seriously, that's americas funniest videos type stuff there. a dog eating cat dong.

Your dogs are looking for something that is lacking in their diet. The best bet would be to add a vitamin and mineral supplement to their diet. Try to work in some green vegetables into thier food now and again.

I doubt that it's a dietary problem.
Sounds morelike a bad habit.
Believe it or not, sometimes canines will eat their own feces as well.
I would try moving the litter box to a location your pooches can't access, and see if that helps.

Dogs can have a rather unpleasant habit of consuming feces, whether its their own or another animals. There are medications that you can buy that are inexpensive that will permanently keep your dog from consuming feces. I would try http://1800petmeds.com They have quite a bit of medication that will help you with this for a very reasonable price.
