where i came from there is no problem of mixed races dating, there are some family do accept and welcome mixed races in there family, once there is respect for one another and if you both love each other, why not, as i see it, the world isn't the same anymore, every ones is mixing, i came from a very cosmopolitan culture and those that i dated per say, family liked me, is how you look at life and other races, for one, if you are not prejudice, you can have anyone in the world, providing that both side don't have a problem with it.

My fiance is from Pakistan and at first his parents didn't seem to be too happy because they really haven't know any African Americans. They assumed the things they heard about black people were true. As time went on and they had a chance to see I'm a nice person and because my fiance and his friends let them know that not all people of any race are the same. So things are good. They ask about me and even want me to come and visit them in Pakistan.

I dated an Eritrean and my family were fine, although I never met his. My brother dated a Romanian girl and a Singaporean girl and both their families were against their daughters going out with someone from a different culture. My family were fine with it.

Sure. One time when I was running in the Boston Marathon I dated a girl who was running in the New York Marathon.

I did but we didn't get to the family thing. I'm white she's black and she did say at one point that her father wasn't going to be thrilled. I think my dad was always cool with stuff, but I think he also was pretty old school, so we didn't get that far.
the thing I found that was most surprising was how racist her black friends were.
the whites I expected. not so much from the black community.
oh well.
anyway do what you WANT, if you dig someone, go for it.

Yes. I am black and I have dated a guy who was puerto rican, columbian and white. And yes there family accepted me.

I am right now, and hopefully they accept me. I haven't met them yet, so I can't be so sure. ^_^;;
