Must we always take things out of context? I think that we as people will take the bible and mold it to fit our own situations. The love Jesus is speaking of and the way you are wording it is totally different. My father loves my brother and I love my mother...what is wrong with that? I love the sister's in my church...tell me where that is wrong? Now if I had a lustful desire for a woman that is where I am wrong at. You can love all the men in the world with the love of Jesus and there is nothing wrong with that. Let's get real my friend.
Job 14:1 says,
"Man born of a woman is but a few days and full of trouble"
May God bless you and keep you!

The bible was written by men, not by God. Why should we believe anything that is in it?
And I guess the answer to your question would be that if Jesus is the son of God, then he is more than a man.
But it is not wrong for a man to love another man. I am not a Christian, but I believe in God, and he says that it is not wrong!

Jesus loves you as a son and the bible does not say not to love another man just not as a sexually partner but more as a brother in christ.

i think you should have thought about this question before you asked it,but since you asked this dumb *** question I'm going to answer it.It's not the same kind of love we are Jesus children and the love that he has for you is the same love that comes from a parent or a grandparent not the love that comes from a girlfriend or boyfriend. It is wrong for a man to love another man only if it's sexual but it's not wrong if it's that brotherly (family) love.Jesus made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.but to each it's on everybody has there own preference.i don't know what kind of bible you are reading but i think you need to get a better interpretation of it.

i believe how jesus loves you is like how a dad loves his child cares for them and wants the best for them and is proud when they graduate college and high school and get honers and stuff like that now what god is saying is a big sin is you can love another guy because it says somewhere in the bible that man is suppose to love one woman and only woman so basically here is the equation
man + man = sin
woman + man = no sin
ant questions - sorry had to add that part hope this has helped :)

There's nothing wrong w/ loving another man. The Bible urges u to love everyone. Jesus loves u because He died on the cross for you and all of your sins. The Bible condemns homosexuality because it's a sexual sin and contradicts what God meant for creation- man and woman to be together. Loving another man is one thing. Having sexual acts/forms of homosexual preferences between two men is sinful.

the Bible never says that it is wrong for a man to love another man, we are to love everyone, man, woman, child as Jesus loves us. Unconditional love doesn't mean sexual love and that is what you are asking. Like a father loves his son, a mother loves her daughter, etc.

Because Jesus is not Just A Man. He is God, wholly your creator. He became wholly man to experience life as a man so that no one could claim that He didn't know what it was like to live on earth. It is mind boggling, and beyond comprehension, but Jesus is God, and He loves you because he created you and wants you to ask Him for forgiveness of your sins so there isn't anything between you and Him, so that when it's time for Him to come again, you will be with Him in heaven.

because Jesus loves us as his children and family not as a lover. And i dont think it is wrong for a man to love another man. We all love who we love and nobody or nothing can change that part of us. Humans are a passionate loving kind and should be able to be passionate about anything that makes them happy.

These are two completely different types of love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus loves us like a father loves his sons or a mother loves her daughters. The bible reference is saying that a man shouldn't make love (have sex) with another man nor a woman have sex (Make love) with another woman.
God made us two sexes so our bodies would fit together to make children.
