Why do people decide to be gay, and then kill themselves cause they are gay?

seriously...a lot of times a person decides they want to be gay...and then they kill themselves cas they are gay....why do they do this?

No one decides to be gay. When did you decide to be straight?

Imagine if you were to realize you were gay. I don't mean decided to be, but woke up tomorrow, met someone of the same sex, and next month realized you were hopelessly in romantic and sexual love. You didn't decide to be. It just happened. You don't want it, but can't stop it. So, you choose to be best friends pretending there isn't more to it. Now it's six months later. Maybe sex is not acted on but that romantic love is in your soul and you both enjoy, depend and want each other more and more.

How would you feel? How would your family and friends take it? How much ostracism, people calling you a sick abomination would you face? So, you end the relationship that means most to your heart and soul, the one that finally makes life really alive and worth living? Then you have no meaning. Choose. Everyone you know will hate you or you're left empty knowing what it is to love but knowing you can never have it.

Hmmm. Do you still wonder why gay/lesbian suicide is high?

They don't decide to be gay. They ARE gay. They decide to admit it, if only to themselve, and then become depressed because of how some people perceive and treat gays, and then they commit suicide.
