Go to the auction.

Register (and pay any required deposit)

Look at the vehicles

Decide which one(s) you are interested in and the maximum price you will pay. Allow for any auction fees. (It helps to make written notes)

When the vehicle is being auctioned, raise your hand (or auction card) to bid. Lower your hand or card if the bidding exceeds your maximum price.

If you are the high bidder, pay for the vehicle. If not, repeat the process on another vehicle.

To find government auctions, look for ads in the paper and search the internet.

Good luck!!
