whats the difference?

went to my therapist and she took me off of lithoid 300 mg and put me on eskalith450mg. i also take 35 mg of effexor and 2 mg of xanax for mania and bipolar and anxiety attacks. i am scared to start this med. what is the difference? i am looking online and they are both lithium. i am scared i will go nuts or have an allergic reactiom..help please someone...

It's the same thing....just the generic and not name brand. Take is like he/she told you to.
