How old does a puppy have to be to get it's first set of needles from the vet?

most people get their first shots around 5-6wks and then 8-9 and 10-11 and then 12-13 for their last set of the year and a rabies shot. Talk to your vet as different areas reccommend different things. Best of luck

your puppy will get its first set of shots between 6-8 weeks. a total of three boosters each set about 3 weeks apart.

The best advice i give you is to go to the vet. I am assuming you mean shots. you might want to inquire immediately. Getting a new puppy is serious business. They need to get their parvo shots and heatworm prevention meds and flea prevention. Better go talk to a vet. It is not really that expensive.

i think 8 weeks when you first get the puppy,my puppy is about 16 weeks old and has all her shots, she got her first ones when we first got her so yea, 8 weeks

Our pups usually get theirs at 6 weeks. If the pups are extra small, I will wait a week or 2.
