I met someone wonderful(see my previous Question), but I have to tell somone else now that I can't see them anymore!! How do you tell a girl that you want to be friends without hurting her feelings. She is a great person, I jjust met someone i really wnat to have a go with!! Girl no. 2 is a sweetheart and I think she was/is beginning to really like me also. Would women rather the truth or to be let down easy?? little help my ladies!!

Tell her the truth but be careful how you do it some women can be very sensitive to things like that. And honestly look at your question and you have the PERFECT answer!

You're very sweet to think about her feelings. I wouldn't tell her about the new girl, but be honest and just say something like "it's just not what I'm looking for" or " I don't think we're the ones for each other" Either way she will probably be disapointed or hurt. Just try to be considerate and respectful.
Yeah the girl above me is probably right. You could say something like.. "I've met someone that I have more in common with" just be gentle.

Tell the one you are not interested the truth rather than left her hanging down there and hoping miracles to happen...
The longer you take to tell her the truth, the more you are actually hurting her when finally you tell her about your decision.

honesty never lies or hurts anyone. be honest with her now. she will be hurt but at least she knows it now and not later, dont lead her on. that is a very bad road to go down. atleast for her. dont tell or let her believe something that isnt true. better to tell her now than to lead her on to believe and make her think something thats just not true. be honest.
