WHY is canned corn?just wondering

No,but frozen peas are better.
By the way, if you work at a can pea plant and you tell someone you have to take a pea,are they gonna think you have to pee,or that you dropped a pea,or if you spill a can of peas on the floor,
do you say "oh, I just peaed all over the floor!"
It would just be too confusing to work there.

I think they have more protein than some other veggies
I give them to my family
Drain and rinse them
'fresh peas have been riding around in trucks and sitting in the grocery store for how long... nutrients are lost
frozen are probably the best bet ...
but we like the taste of canned better.

they aren't great for you. they have a lot of salt. you can drain the water and then rinse them. fresh or frozen peas are a much better alternative, more vitamins.

No, but if you are in a civilized area, why would you purchase them over fresh (or even frozen) ones without the threat of imminent nuclear war?

Not that I know of... I mean- they're no where near as good as frozen -or fresh...- But if they're the only thing you've got to put into that tuna casserole tomorrow night- you're probably not going to sicken & die from them.

nope. I guess if there is a lot of added salt, that might be a problem. Just drain off the water.

No canned food as opposed to fresh is that great, but they're not that bad.

frozen and fresh are much better for you...not so much added salt and sugar...but they still have a good amount of nutrition...
