"Buyers remorse" says that you have 3 days - 72 hours to return the car. Now if you've put too many miles on the car and the dealer can't sell it as new, they may legally be able to charge you for that mileage since under buyer's remorse you have to be able to return the item in the same condition you purchased it.

Best tip I know of would be to call another dealer of the same make of car and ask them how long you would have to return it - and under what conditions. Most dealerships would be under the same rules and at least you could tell them "so-and-so says they would do this"....

From what I understand (checking the Oregon DOJ website) once you buy it it is yours. There is no grace period. No cool off period.
