i groomed dogs, and the majority of the dogs were white. there is whitening shampoo for dogs, which was mentioned in previous answers. but it will knock get rid of lick spots. eye magic is for tear spots on small breeds, such as poodles, who often get gooped up and eyes and have them scooped out with clippers. whitening shampoo can reduce the appearance of the spots, but they won't go away. especially because the dog will continue to lick at them. each time you bathe the dog, you can apply a little bit of whitener, and after a few baths, it should reduce their appearance. you can also use chalk on its white fur. it isnt going to last as long, but it will give it a better appearance for a a bit of time. lots of dogs who are white, or have white chests, get chalked at groomers. especially if they are show dogs. its not permanent, but it looks great for a little bit. just make sure you dont bathe it too often, esp too often with any shampoo containing whitening agents. only bathe it once a week maximum to reduce the risk of drying out its skin. aplly the whitner, and after a few times, see what it does. they wont go away completely, but it does cut down on how dark they are.

There are a couple of things you can do to remove them and to prevent them.
1. There is a product you can buy called Eye Magic. It gets rid of stains by wiping the product over stained areas. There are also many products you can get at your local pet store.
2. Avoid treats and raw hides that have die in them.
3. Give your dog distilled water or spring water. (you can also fill a pitcher of water and leave it out for about 24 hours to evaporate chemicals in running tap water)

Try a whiting shampoo it has whiteing agents in it. The shampoo may be blue on application but does a great job on the coat. Also you might want to try desloving some alkiaselser or tums in some warm water and rubbing the spots with it works on tear stains. Good luck

The vet told us that the reddish brown fur is because the dog licks his paws all the time. There is a chemical in the saliva that turns the hair that colour. I don't know how to get rid of it, but I wouldn't concern myself too much about it. If it worries you, ask your vet.

Try going to Petco or somewhere, that has shampoo designated for white fur. I know they have it for horses, so they probably have it for dogs.
