I was send to a special school, and since then we moved around a lot and I am not able to fine my diploma and I have not been able to find the school. The school was Mitchell in CA, around San Jose, Santa Claira area. I am just wondering if this was a real school or not. I have now moved out of CA and the State I am in now is kind of paturlar on education on appicaltions for jobs.

The parents could go to jail for truancy.
But if you're past the age restriction the point is moot.
Get your GED or go back and get your diploma. It will hold you back and prevent you from getting a lot of other jobs without them.

Well, NOW is the time to start your education!

How about some research homework!?

Look on the Net for the names of schools that most closely fits the one you remember going to.

Next, write them all an email asking if they had a student by your name. If they cannot say, ask them to send you a "Release of Information Form" so that you can apply to find the information. (If you are still a minor, 17 or under, your parents will have to send it in for you.

Ask If their school has changed their name since the time you remember being at this special school because often times they do change their names and their locations!.

Go ahead and get your entry-level testing done to start your GED classes and then START classes.

If a potential employer wants more info, respectfully tell them...

" My parents moved quite a bit and I am now trying to track down my transcripts but in the meantime, I am in an Adult Education Class to earn my GED. I would still like to work (here) and I KNOW that I will be an asset to the (name of company/employer), due to the fact that I have a desire to learn and develop a stronger work ethic".

This is called, "selling your BEST self"

My prayers and encouragement go with you....so get goin! You have homework to do!
