So, to reiterate the major question at hand-is this an open forum to continue the religious hatred that is prevalent all around us?
Can we at least agree that negativity of any sort isn't helping to make this the forum it should be?

It matters to me because I actually care about people...Is that so hard to see? Am I less of a person for being emotionally vulnerable to hatred and bile? Maybe even yours?

I agree with you, but it seems a lot of people get some sort of satisfaction out of belittling people or just seeing their hateful comments in "print"

"Can we at least agree that negativity of any sort isn't helping to make this the forum it should be?"

I doubt it because each person has their own idea of 1) what constitutes "negativity" and 2) what the purpose of this forum is.

For instance, I think this forum should be about people who really want to know the truth about religious and spiritual matters posting questions and people who believe that they possess accurate knowledge of the subject matter to provide answers.

But often times a truthful answer may be perceived as "negative" if it doesn't affirm the beliefs of the person who is doing the asking or the beliefs of other people who may be posting answers.

I have just reviewed your last 7 questions, and each was a thinly veiled ad-hominem attack on the members of this forum. You are neither promoting dialogue nor expanding knowledge. Your heart may be in the right place, but you are cluttering up the forum no less than the "what do I do" guy.

May I suggest that, if you ask similar questions over and over and get similar answers, perhaps the fault lies in your choice of questions. Come up with different questions and you will get a different result. And believe me, until you do, you'll get no further responses from me.

This forum is overrun with theists. The major theistic religions of the western world tend to be negative. Basically, most say that sin is the nature of humanity, and only the being who made us that way can make it better. I would like to get away from negativity too, but this requires doing away with Judeo-Christian and Muslim thinking. This is the point. I for one come here hoping to present thouguhts that might keep even one seeeking mind from following the negativity inevitably seen in theism.

You are dealing with the public from around the world. People are going to let it all hang out. No matter how stupid or hateful it might be.

Just don't get involved and let the Devil have his day. Don't give into the mean. Let's have the last laugh.

"Don't do this because it's a sin". "Don't do that or you'll go to hell". Can we at least agree that negativity is an inherent part of religions?

At least, here we hate religions, not religious people. And we wish religions were destroyed, not believers.

You want to keep posting the same thing? O.K. I'll post my answer to your last question:

Why does it matter to you so much? Why are you here? Some are here to learn, some are here to teach, some are here to have their opinions heard, some are here to ask thought provoking questions, some are here to chuckle, some are here to hate, some are here to troll. Everybody's here for a different reason. There is no best answer for your question.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone could be clinical in thir questions and answers. That would solve at least half of the worlds interpersonal problems.
