the easy way or the hard way?
the easy way:
take the part of hair where bangs would be if you had bangs and pull it over your head and clip it in place where it looks like a poof. then, use loads of hair spray.
the hard way:
teas it. brush your hair back on your head, then slowly and slightly comb the part you want poofed forward. you have to be very careful, but if you do it right, it will look as profesional as the red hed in that picture. oh and you need lots of hair spray too.

1. Work volumizing mousse through freshly shampooed, towel-dried hair.
2. Flip your head over to blowdry your hair as this will add volume.
3. Gently brush through hair with a vented brush.
4. Separate a frontal, square section of your hair the width of your forehead and as far back as the middle top of your head.
5. Smooth and secure the rest of your hair into a ponytail in the center of the back of your head.
6. Holding the frontal square section forward and away from your head, backcomb the hair underneath.
7. Gently sweep this section back, making sure the topside of the section is smooth and the backcombed part is underneath.
8. Secure the end of this section at the top of the pony tail with one or two bobbby pins.
9. Finish with a generous misting of medium-hold hairspray.

Gather the front of your hair, twist it a few times, push it forward, then pin it down. Use only a LITTLE hairspray at the front and then lightly brush over it. Quick, simple and causes no damage.

pull it in a ponytail, then push that part of the hair forward, tease a little (backcomb it) and mist with some hairspray
