I have never been to Sylvia's in Harlem. Since President Bill Clinton has gone there on a frequent basis, this will be the first restaurant stop on my list. I know that he is the best recommendation because he is a fine person. He is more truthful than most of the people that I know personally and most of the so-called politicians that swear that they are speaking for "God." Yes, I would definitely go there just because he is an ongoing patron. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

I've not been, but have friends that make a yearly trip to NYC and Sylvia's is one of the first stops. I've been told it is some of the best soul food ever, including what you can get in the south...

Yes and it used to be a lot better. There is actually a better place not too far from there called Amy Ruth's. The address is 113 W. 116th St. between Lenox Ave and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd. The one thing I've noticed is that you get more food when you take out then when dining in.

Yes...I went there a few years ago. I had the fried chicken and the sweet potato pie and enjoyed myself.
If you're ever in Boston, check out Chef Lee's...it's really good soul food also.
