Jehovah was a very evil god, even the OT tells how he murdered, raped mary and advocated slavery, too bad most people are too cowardly or too ignorant to give anything but regurgitated christian rhetoric.

No! The Bible explains that God created many many spirit persons similar to himself. In the Bible these spirit persons are called angels. Also they are called "sons of God(Job38:7; Psalm104:4; Hebrews1:7,13,14) God created them all perfect. Not one of them was a devilor a satan. The word "devil" means slanderer and the word"devil" means opposer.
The time came however, when one of these spirit sons of God made himself the devil, that is, a hateful liar who speaks bad things about another. He also made himself satan, that is, an opposer of God. He was not created that way, but later became that kind of person. To illustrate: A thief is not born a thief. He may have come from a good family, having honest parents and law -abiding brothers and sisters. But his own desire for what money can buy is what may have caused him to become a thief. How, then, did one of God's spirit sons make himself Satan the devil?
The angel that became the devil was present when God created the earthand later the first human couple, Adam and Eve,(Job38:4,7) So he would have heard God tell them to have children.(Genesis1:27,28) He knew that after a while the whole earth woulf be filled with rightous people worshiping God. That was God's purpose. However,, this angel thought a great deal of his own beauty and intelligence, and wanted to receive for himself the worship that would be given to God. (Ezekiel28:13-15); Mathew4:10) Instead of putting this wrong desire out of his mind he kept thinking about it. This led to his taking action to obtain the honor and importance he desired.(James1:14,15)So it is actually the devil satan that is doing the tricking people into worshiping him rather than God!

The devil in effect created himself.
He was created like every other angel in heaven, however he did not see why God should be worshipped and wanted worship for himself, that is why he tempted Eve with the thought that Eve could be like God by eating of the tree of life.
At the time of Job Satan challenged God that no man would want to serve God if God did not bless that person. He said all humans are selfish and wanted to do things their own way. God allowed Satan to bring tribulation of all sorts on Job to see if Job would stop worshipping God and curse God. Job did not give in but stayed loyal.
God has allowed time for this rebellious angel to prove his assumption, but time is fast running out for Satan now

The devil, before being the devil was an angel, yes created by God. He wanted to be the top dog, so to speak. He fell from grace with God and became the evil one.
You logic is flawed. If I drive down the street and someone hits my car and their car is damaged--is it then my fault for having been on the road at that time--I should have stayed home? You can carry that to the enth degree and make yourself nuts with guilt.
What if I give birth to a child, who one day has a child, who one day is a serial killer. According to your logic, it would be my fault for not saying no to my husband on the night of conception years before.

You are ignorant of the Scriptures and thus should not for your own sake put dribble down to paper with comment and statements like this.
Oh, there is so much to learn in the Bible that you can use to further your own existence the way God wants for you.
God did not create the devil. No, on the contrary. He created the most beautiful angel that you can imagine. No, I sorry, you can't imagine for our brains are incapable of that.
He was perfect in every way till iniquity was found in him. He did this to himself.
Please do yourself a favor, go to the Word, the Bible and read. I recommend the 1611 King James Version. Its easy to read and to understand.
You would not be putting questions here unless the Father is using this to lead you to His Son Jesus Christ.><>

God created the angels of heaven to have free will. Lucifer was an angel but he became proud and put himself above God. There was a great battle in heaven between Michael the Archangel and Lucifer and Lucifer and his minions were cast out of heaven.
Lucifer/Satan/Devil is the Prince of Darkness and the Prince of this world. Remember that. He works night and day to separate us from the love of God. Even Jesus believes in Satan.

Yes, God created the devil-formerly-known-as-angel "Shining one/ Light-bringer". But my oh my how perfection and paradise can be wrecked by the abuse of free will.
God endowed higher creatures with freedom of moral choice. Not programmed robots, hear hear, but entities with real freedom which necessitates real choice(s) followed by real reward(s) or real punishment(s). Freedom itself is a wonderful gift from God but a tremendous responsibility as well. Angels had a choice. Adam and Eve had a choice. You have a choice. I have a choice. God allowed you to post such a loaded question, and for those above and below to answer, for better or worse.
What part of "you are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die" didn't we understand?!
Don't have all the answers but a few of us know Someone who does who has given us the ones we need to know...

God created everything perfect, which Lucifer was the annoited cheribum over the garden of Eden as well as being in charge over God's orchestra(thats why music has a major influence in our soceity today), so when angels took orders from Lucifer they had to obey them as if they were coming straight from the mouth of God. It wasn't until that Adam was created that Lucifer became prideful, as the Bible puts it, "His eyes were lifted up" he wanted adam to worship him, when Adam is God's image, so he wanted God's image to worship him. therefore, he wanted to be treated as God, a third of heaven's angels heard this and sided with Lucifer, thus creating their fate that leads to death and destruction. Lucifer who God changed his name to Satan, Fallen Angels, Demons, Evil, Unclean, Familiar Spirits(all separate beings) cannot receive redemption and forgiveness, that is why angels have to be careful about obeying orders and not to become prideful as did Lucifer
