Be sure to feed doggie foods that are fit for doggie's digestive system. You can make homemade dog food if you don't approve of regular commercial dog food.
Most dogs willingly eat vegetables, particularly if they are cooked, and many kinds of fruit, although grapes, avocados, and raisins are toxic to dogs. Remember that chocolate is very, very bad for dogs!!!

As a dog owner, I take them to the vet reg, which you should ask you vet about your dogs diet. But you can give your dog a great diet by picking out a Dog Food that has all you mentioned in it.
Try to refrain From Breads. Veggies are good for the dog, but if they are not fresh they can have a lot of other things that can cause problems later in your dogs life. Do not under any conditions give your dog Chicken Bones, smaller breeds can choke on them, they splinter easy... So if you don't have a vet yet, or its to costly, you can always call any vet for advice, or even your local SPCA...

My vet told me that if it was good enough for me to eat, it was OK for the dog. I do need to note, however, that I do not eat a lot of processed crap. Neither do the four-leggeds.
One of my dogs loves strawberries and raspberries. The other two won't touch them. Two of them will eat raw veggies if there's ranch dressing on them. I fry up bacon to give as treats -- all three love that!
Actually, I read somewhere that dogs in the wild are primarily vegetarian. The first thing they go for is the undigested remains in the stomachs of whatever they find.
Veggies are great for dogs. I'd limit the fruit because of the sugar content. If you really want to be super good to your baby, go get some organic beef liver. Boil it up, then chunk it up into pieces that are about three times bigger than you want to end up with. Then freeze them for a few days. (Boiling and freezing the meat kills any bacteria that might be in it.) Take them straight from the freezer to the food dehydrator and remove all the moisture. I have yet to find a dog that won't go nuts for these. My friend's daughter house broke her new boxer pup in 24 hours using these as rewards.

With two exceptions, we do not feed human food to our dogs. The two exceptions are the occasional French fries and pop corn. For their regular food, we use a quality dry food. We found that by doing this, our dogs stay healthy and stay at their ideal weight. The fries and pop corn add a little extra vegetable oil, which helps their skin and coats. We try to buy a variety of treats, which we give them a few times each week. Anybody that knows our dogs knows that we spoil them rotten. In fact, if you ask the dogs, they will tell you that they have the nicest doghouse in the world. What other dogs have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with central heat and A/C? The dogs show their appreciation by allowing us to sleep in their king sized bed with them. =)
Good luck!

Stop giving her table food, treats of any type. If she does something to deserve a treat, use her food, as a treat. As everyone else said, when she gets hungry, she will eat. Once she gets back to eating regularly, keep the table scraps to a min. Also, try waling your dog, longer than you normally do. Tire-her out, and that will make her hungrier, faster. Don't forget plenty of love and attention. She does not know this is bad, and she will need re-assurance!

Just stick to the dog food. Human food is too high ion fat and a lot of things that are OK for humans can kill a dog. Apple seeds contain toxins and even a few can make a dog very sick and even kill it. Dog food is safe though. So just stick with that.

Hmm.. almost ALL food is ok for dogs. Including fruits and most vegetables!! EXCEPT POTATOES!!! They are not supposed to have potatoes, tomatoes, chocolate, or candy. (Basically use common sense!) But.. my dog LOVES bananas!! He also loves peanut butter! (And secretly?.. I share my fortune cookie from the chinese takout place in town!! My dog loves them!! he he) They can also have most all fruts an dOh! I dont know if this has anything to do with it.. but have you ever heard of a "Kong"? If not? Look it up on Petco.com or go to petco. If you ask any person working at petco they should know what your talking about. It kind of looks like a bees hive, and its made out of rubber. If you put peanut butter in it, it keeps dogs occupied for 20 minutes to a half hour!! HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

Um all though fruit is good for humans, I don't think all fruit is good for puppies. You will probably have to read up on that. If you mix a little bit of table food with their dog food that won't hurt their little tummies.

look into the BARF (bones and raw food) diet. most 'human' food is fine for dogs but some items should be given in moderation and others (chocolate, onions, grapes) should not be given at all. You will want to make sure that your dog is getting a balanced diet first and foremost. The main BARF diet website can give you further information.

It's probably ok to give veggies, but not sure about fruit (because of the seeds). But you should be giving your dog proper commercial dog food. That should be the mainstay of your dog's diet.
