2 days ago I weighed 112 pounds. I've been doing very hard tumbling/competition classes.(push ups, crunches, side crunches...etc) Well, today I got on the scale and I was 118 POUNDS!!! Could that be muscle or am I just a fatty?

They offer a free body composition tracker, so you can take measurements and tell if you're gaining muscle or fat. I haven't ever heard of anyone gaining that much muscle in 2 days. You probably have gained muscle and water, if you've been keeping yourself well hydrated during your exercise.

In human body it is quite easy to gain or loose 4-8 pound within a week (even when u r working out very hard). So just ignored the scale & continue ur training but remember don't over training. Do workout 3-4 days a week.

One more thing next time whenever u r going to scale ur weight...do it with ur empty stomach.

Best of Luck.

Well, I highly doubt you gained 6lb of muscle or fat in only 2 days. So my guess is that, it may be fluid retention, your scales are not very accurate or you weighed yourself at different times of the day.

My suggestion would be to only weigh yourself first thing in the morning, after peeing, with as little on as possible. Make sure your scales are on a flat surface and stand up straight with your head up. This will ensure an accurate reading every time. HTH.

It's unlikely with these type of workouts and being in the 110 to 130 weight catagory, being a fatty is the last thing you got to worry about. With proper diets and properly performed workouts , your growing muscles will become dense, hard ,and become much heavier. So stick to it , even if you gain 10lbs more your muscles will be stregthing enough to compensate for more mass.

get real...you should know that muscle is heavier than fat
do you look like a fatty...I don't think so.
Stop living by the scale and just learn to enjoy your life.
what you weigh is not what you're worth!

Muscle weighs more than fat. As you tone don't freak out if you gain a little.

well those exercises will burn alot of calories while toning your body and muscles..although 2 days is very short..some might be mucsle and most could be just water weight...anyway the more exercises you do the more fat you burn..
