I am 16 years old. I was living with my grandma since I was a little girl ( my parents died when I was young). My grandma died a couple of monthes ago and I went to live with my uncle who is a high school teacher, lately he has been acting very strange. He will randomly fly into rages over nothing. He has lashed out at me a couple times, pulled my arm really hard, and struck at me, other times he is very depressed and dosn't talk to me for days and dosn't even go to work.He will not allow me to have a boyfriend, and actually screamed and thretened one of my male friends that was hanging out with me. He sometimes will ask me to kiss him, and what I think of him, and will barge in on me right when he knows that I am changing to ask me a question. I don't know what to do, he teaches at the school I go to, but I have heard from some of my friends that he has hit on some of the female students. What should I do?

Your question is a text book example of child abuse, and as such, I think you are pulling a prank. If you are posting this as a joke, shame on you. You should look to other ways to fool people, since this really is supposed to be an honest forum where people communicate with other honest human beings who have wisdom and compassion for our fellow humans.
With that said, if you are genuine in your concerns, you must talk to a qualified adult who is in a position to help you. That would be a teacher, a school counselor, a friend of your grandmother or your parents. But I doubt your story. It is too melodramatic to be true. I think, in any case you know what to do. One, stop playing games in this venue (look it up) or two, find an adult who can help you.

Tell the police what you just said here. Or go to the principal at your school, and tell them. nobody should put their hands on you don't put up with it you are old enough to take care of yourself and you may be able to get social security to help you with paying for your own place so you don't have to stay there. If you are in school full time you may be able to receive the S.S. money that your parents have earned.

You have GOT to tell someone at your school. Tell your principal or a guidance counsellor or BOTH. You really have to have someone get you out of that house. It's only a matter of time until something really really bad happens.
God bless you. We have an extra room. Wish I could help. Can you live with another relative???

Call the police. He can be arrested for battery. Tell the cops about how he has been acting. He maybe having feelings for you that are not appropriate. You can also become emancipated if you can show the courts you can take care of your self. The next time be becomes physical with you please or verbally abusive call 911

wow, u definatly need a safe haven, some place or some one u can go to that will completely unbiased. That could be really diffficult with him working at ur school. Try a trusted adult who u know wont run to him with the problem. whatever u do, dont be a victim, and know that his problem is completely his, and in no way ur fault

Please accept my condolences for your loss.
You have certainly had more than your share
of grief.
1. Who authorized this uncle as guardian?
If it was the courts, seek their help immediately.
2. If it was just his "generosity" then I suggest
you call the Social Services in your area.
Should be listed in the phone book under
"your city's name".
3. If you are afraid of him, or if things get worse, don't delay,
call the police.

If you feel like you need to tell someone your best bet is to tell someone "like a teacher or a family member" that you trust so you are able to get out of that house. Do you have another family member you can live with. You should not be there if he is doing that to you. Please get out of there I dont know you ,but I dont want nothing bad to happen to you!!!

Report him to social services or the police and to the school. Hopefully he will get fired and thrown into jail simulataneouly and they can find a home for you until you turn 18.

Listen, I am a nurse. The best thing that you can do is tell another responsible adult that you trust. Do you have a school counselor? This would be a very good person to tell.
