How people perceievce australia can be over eggagerated for instance we dont have kangaroos hopping around in the city areas etc.. If you visit a rural area you must be wary of snakes, spiders and when swimming in summer jelly fish especially in the tropical areas of Australia. All of us are laid back and our cities are clean and mainly safe. There is good transport and takes you to our fantastic beaches. The most scenic area is cairns due to the Great Barrier Reef and the lush tropical rainforests. Sydney is nice but Melbourne is nicer due to the lower costs of living. At the moment in melbourne there is massive construction in the docklands area (cafes, apartments etc..). We have the most sporting events like the australia tennis open, Grand prix, AFL grand final etc.. You must definately come and visit our lovely country! Go Aussie!

To Tina, Austria and Australia totally different places, and different countries. Australia is an awesome place to live!!!

I wouldn't advise anyone to move here to live.... terrrible terrible place.... (winks slyly to the other Aussies)
