i wouldn't necessarily agree that a stylist that has been in the business for 10 years is any better than one who just got out of school. i'm a fairly newly licensed stylist but have had some of my worst cuts from people who've been in the business for a really long time. but for your hair question, i'm kind of a wash and go person when i'm not at work myself. point cutting or a razor cut will help. get some layers with some face framing and it'll make it easier. if you tell your stylist that you don't want to spend a lot of time on your hair they'll be able to break down some styles that fit your face. one cut to try is a modified mohawk or a faux hawk. it's razor cut, leaves hair on the head and is a simple wash and throw some gel in it style. you don't have to put the mohawk up, i had it for almost a year and loved it, but ended up missing the pony tail. if you wanna see a pic of it, on a lazy styling day even, email me and i'll send you a pic.

If you get a good cut from a professional that has been in the business for several years (at least ten) it should just fall into place. If its really long, that does not necessarily apply... however if you don't take the time to take care of and style it every day then mabey you should consider cutting it. Long damp hair is never attractive.

well my doughter has the same problem without it doing what she wants, so she eather puts it in pony tail or a bun and also has headbands and clips it is a easy fast way to do and put your hair up , good luck.

braid it or give it a perm. sometimes hair desnt cooperate, but then it will give in when u find a way. perms will certainly make it good
