Everyone that is close to me has basically wrote me off because of this, friends, family. They wonder how I can have anything in common with him, and I do. I`m not trying to act younger than I am. We just work and we have fun. My cousin has really went ballistic over this. She has said I`m no better than a child molester, which makes me upset. He is mature and understanding. There are no head games, and caring about him is easy. I have no children, and feel pretty free. I never planned this, or went looking for this, It just happened. I thought it over in my head many times, and we have so much fun. I get bored easily and I don`t have that concern with him. We make every moment fun. Sometimes life gets difficult and too serious. He`s really been there for me. My last relationship was with a 41 yr old. He was content setting in a recliner

You are having fun and so is he, enjoy. It is legal, who is to say if its ethical, and you are both old enough to decide. But... be careful. My experience was he will change really quickly as he is still not molded into who he will be.

In some societies young men are matched with older women because it matches up the powerful forces inherent in the sex drive of these age groups. In a similar fashion older men are matched with younger women to keep the men active longer. This is not practiced in our society so in every young marriage somewhat of a mishatch is present. Boys lust after every charming skirt and girls who can not keep up with, what seems like unreasonable demands, wind up feeling inadequate. This is life and I see no change in the future, short or long term.

first you need to explain this to the people who have written you off - second, the are most likely jealous that you are happier than they are and that they don't have the b@lls to do what makes them happy and ignore societies BS propoganda about dating. Besides, are they living youor life or are you?

PS - send them a recliner for the holidays and tell them to sit down and shut up.

As long as you and him are happy screw everyone else. Its your relationship and if it works great. I am happy for you. Its hard to find someone you can share your life with and so what if he is younger. Men die at a younger age then women anyway So have a happy and fun life with him.

I think you're awesome. I'd do you, too. In fact, though, I slept with a 36yr when I was 18.
