That's why Obedience training is so necessary! Safety leash, and short leash simultaneously! Hi_! Carry a small treat for a reward when he/she Heels without You tugging _larious! Chokechain an Adult dog ,Snow! Hope you can get all the training in before it snows, boarder!

Odd, I have a Jack Russell pup that is only 13 weeks and does quite well on a leash, however I do agree with the need for obedience classes, for all dogs. Good luck!
