There's a guy I like who I play in the same soccer league as him. He's a referre and a goalie. He seems very confident of himself on the field. He's a good looking guy, but kinda overweight. We exchanged lots of eye contact, glances, caught him staring when i had to change jersey's..lol Theres been 4 games were he was the ref and playing eye candy games with each other, but he never approached me......So now were in regular season, so maybe we'll end up at the or the near the same game. Can he be confident in other areas but shy towards me or not that interested?

The person your describing sounds like me except i play football. I love playing that sport because on the feel i'm no longer me i'm the right tackle. This is why he's so confident on the feel. When it comes to girls i've had a lot of bad experiences whic is why i rarly make the first move anymore. He maybe be shy and though i'm a traditional guy it wouldn't hurt if the girl made a first move. "Try ...hi i've seen you looking good on the field, would you like to get a drink with me?"

Being the guy that I am, I am really into leadership and playing active ambitious roles in my life, but when it comes to hitting on a chick that I would really like to date, it's just not my thing. I mean I can act cool and play off the role but in my true nature it's not really something I guess I'm use to doing. But seeing me do some of the things I do at work or in life you would never guess the same. I think you should approach him and ask if he's interested.

If he's overweight he is probably very self concious.. probably interested but afraid of rejection, OR if he has not had any or many relationships he may be scared of acceptance.. would'nt know what to do if he had your acceptance.. Hopefully he will come around. Took me too many years.

Sounds like he is interested to me! Maybe you should make the first move. I think it is totally possible that he is just to shy, or is just trying to figure out the same as you, if you like him. hmmm....

Be friendly and find out, maybe he is shy, guys are afraid to be turned down. give him signals that u are interested and take it from there.

If he wasn't interested he wouldn't be giving you the eye, he would be avoiding you he may not be sure of himself , also may think you are out of his class
