Middle school is a great year because you get to make new friends to add to you old ones. It is easier to meet friends because you get to be involved in more programs and extra curricular events. You will be in a group where everybody likes the same thing as you! You will have loads of fun so go to sleep and be ready to get up well-rested! Best wishes for a great year!

Don't worry. Junior high isn't as hard as it seems. There are people who can't sleep right now either. Don't think about the bad stuff, it'll make your two years there seem a lot tougher and longer. Think about the good things in middle school. Middle school is probably the hardest transition to make because you have several elementary schools coming together. You also have different teachers, different classroom surroundings. The homework will be a bit more and bit harder. No worries, though. There are a variety of clubs and sports in middle school to be involved in. Join one and you'll meet a lot of people. Middle school is a stepping stone to high school. So experiencing middle school (different classes, different teachers) gives you an inside look on how high school will kind of be like. My advice to you is this: Do not try to make yourself popular in school. Instead, be yourself, do what you like to do and encourage others to do it too. This will make others notice you, and you will become popular in your own way.

You don't have to sit on your but in 1 class all day, and you meet more people than you would in elementary, because you have different classes so you would see different people in each class. You don't have the same teacher all day, everyday either. And if there's one you don't like there's always a chance of one being to your liking.
Don't worry about it you will do fine.

My advice depends on whether you are the kid or the teacher who is starting school :P just remember it always seems tough in the beginning for everyone (yes even for the teachers) so just do your best in class, remember to take it easy sometimes, and you will start to like it before you know it!
