Technically, you can cross breed anything. However, this is not a good idea, you would end up with temperamentally unstable puppies. Golden Retrievers are people dogs, they are social and gentle creatures. Chow Chows are known to be more violent and temperamental than Dobermans. They are one of three breeds of dog you aren't allowed to adopt in my city. I would let my kids pet a Doberman or Rottweiler before I would let them within 20 feet of a Chow. So while technically you can breed them together, it would not be wise, as the temperament of the puppies would be a huge gamble and you could easily be wasting their lives. Good luck. :)

why would u want to do that...they are completly different types of dogs. chow chows are guard dogs by nature and unpredictable. Retrievers are gentle family dogs. Anyone can b a "SO CALLED BREEDER" the dogs dont need ur help however try being responsible, just desex them, the world doesnt need more unwanted pups.

Yes but then you'll end up with a bunch of mixed breed dogs that nobody wants and they'll end up in an animal shelter and have to be euthanized. Get your dogs fixed.

Why would you want to do that? Only if both dogs agree and are mating naturally and not forced into it, then yeah why not?
