A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahansmaniac Community member suggests the following.

You can feel things in your dreams, don't let anyone say different.
Remember for your next nightmare: When you are really scared in your dream, say :"this is only a dream, I can change this"
and most of the time you wake up or you change the outcome.
It works for my nightmares, once I was being chased by someone with a knife and I said those words and the dream started over again but with a different ending. And once I dreamed of someone special from my past and we had sex and I woke up from an Orgasm. Therefore I know you can feel.

Yes, I think everybody feels things in their dreams. I don't know why someone would tell u they do not. My brother once had a dream where he got bit by a vampire on the leg and when he woke up their were two small bloody bite marks on his legs, probably from a spider but his dream interpreted it as a vampire. Also, I've had dreams where I've gotten physically hurt and when I wake up I still breifly feel the same pain. You got to remember most pain is mental not physical, so if u think you are in pain and dreaming that you are in pain then you probably are and it isn't due to a physical injury.

I feel things in my dreams.Like not to be nasty but I if I'm having a sexual dream I can have
sexual feelings.Or when I dream that I am being injured I don't feel pain but I get a sort of numbing sensation or like a tingly feeling .If it's
a really bad nightmare when I wake up I feel
like I have a million needles stuck in my body.
But if you can feel as much as you say you can
in your dreams try to think of it in a positive way.Maybe you were blessed with a gift. And
when you have good dreams then maybe good things will happen.

I feel almost every type of sense in my dreams. Oftentimes, I can't tell the difference between a dream and real life, my dreams are so real and vivid. I feel pain a lot in my dreams, and I can always hear stuff. I think some people feel things, some don't.

I'm interested in knowing where you heard that. I can still remember a dream from when I was little. We had relatives over and I was sleeping in the spare room because guests usually got my bed. Anyway, I had a dream that I was being tickled on my sides. It was really weird and kinda creepy. It didn't make me laugh, but it felt reallly real. I opened my eyes and no one was there.

strangely enough if you can remember your dream you were not asleep. you were just resting.
i believe that there are 7 stages of sleep (there may be 9 but i am not sure), it takes the average person 90 minutes to reach REM (rapid eye movement)
when you are in full REM sleep you will not remember anything.
when you are either just on the verge of falling asleep, or when you are coming out of sleep your sub-concious can communicate with your concious mind through dreams. you must pay attention to the dreams. especially if it is a re-curring dream. that mean the sub-concious is trying to tell you something.
hope this helps

That honestly isn't normal--although a lot of people do have stuff like that. Search sleeping conditions. I watched on Primetime or something like that that your body should be paralyzed in your sleep. That is really odd about the knife. I feel your pain; that's unusual.

I think your body can react to things in dreams. Like if you have a dream you falling or scared your heart will be racing when you get up.
