I was fine before and now it's just creeping up on me. I hate depression. I don't want to go back to feeling like I did before. Therapy, medication and hospitalization, I've done all that and I'm not looking for Jesus.

I feel resonably sure that you've looked at the obvious; perhaps it's some small thing that your unconcience mind thinks that you have forgotten: Sometimes we are way too hard on ourselves; thinking that yes we are super people and could and should be able to handle anything.

The best way to fight depression is to talk about it. You've done the therepy the medicaiton and the hospitalization, but have you talked to a friend? Sometimes having someone you care about understand how you are feeling can make all the difference. You might also want to consider a structured retreat, a secular structured retreat, just getting away from everything to a different setting where you can free your mind and focus your thoughts. If not a retreat then perhaps community service, doing something for others is a great way to bring hope into your life. I wish you all the best.

I have dealt with mild depression since my late teens. It is a roller coaster that I can somewhat relate to. Have you tried different kinds of medication? For ample lengths of time? What about exercise? I know it's hard, but can you be proactive? What about a hobby for example? The reason I ask about the meds is because I am very good at taking myself off of meds once I am feeling better. NOT the answer. I am not pushing meds, but sometimes, for certain people, they can help if taken consistently. When my doc prescribed something and I took it consistently it made a world of difference. I think you have to kind of come to grips with the fact that you are prone to depression as the first step. I wish I had better advice. I am sorry and I hope you feel better.

Depression is a reaction to frustration that we can't seem to overcome. If you work all the way through depression, you will have accepted or become resigned to whatever it was that frustrated you.

When depression becomes a serious problem is when you get depressed about being depressed. Or anxious about being depressed. Then you have a loop that feeds on itself. The way out is to focus on other things and be resigned to the fact you can do nothing about the depression. The other things you get into release you from depression.

Have you tried the simpliest thing there is? It may be stupid, but try talking to anyone, friends, teachers, anyone you trust. It does work. If not, try calling a deppression hotline, they work to.

If it doesn't look yourself in the mirror every morning, and say to yourself "I am a beautiful, wise, and a smart woman! I can overcome anything I want. No one can bring me down. I AM THE BEST I CAN BE!!!

well if you dont want help from god to work through your sh*t you need to do it yourself (if a f*ck load harder thpough from what i hear)
find out what is making you depressed, then grieve it, and get over it.

im never depressed for no reason. sure i get sad now and then from disapointment, but i never have thoes days where i am so depressed and tired of living (not to say that your like that)
i use to be like that, but i got my **** together. ask for guidence from a parent or help from a trusted friend
good luck
