Jesus was a Jewish guy who never heard of Christianity. He was a great public speaker with a lot more than twelve followers. The Romans were the bosses and they didn't want any Jewish leaders, so they bumped him off.

Saint Paul never met Jesus. There were a lot of pagans who had taken on a lot of Jewish ways. They even went to the synagogue, but they couldn't convert to Judaism because they refused to be circumcised. Paul started preaching to them. He said they could keep their own customs. They became the first Christians.

Augustus Caesar was the first emperor of Rome. In those days, people used to worship people, living or dead. He started saying he was the Son of God. The early Christians responded that Jesus was the Son of God. They were only supposed to have one God and now they had two. They got around that problem by developing the doctorine of the Trinity.

As Muslims we know that Jesus didn't really die. He was lifted to heaven by two angels and Judas was made to look like Jesus and was crucified instead. Sadly, an entire religion is based on the false belief that a Prophet of God is 1) a son of God and 2) died for their sins. In reality, everyone is accountable for their own sins... God will judge us individually, not because of a label we attribute to our selves. Also, God never becomes a human being or any creation, God is above such petty ideas and much greater than that. Finally, God is incapable of dying.

Jesus of course died as a man but many perceived his death as "a Man who died to become a God". Nyada nyada...A man can only die as a man and nothing else, well at least they do die as a preacher, as a philosopher and whatever it is but what matters is that he died as a (highly-respected) Man.

Any word of God may just prove his silliness because GODS are all about mentality and it's all in the mind. People perceive Jesus as a Man of God, GO ON! He is still a man who was a genius that managed to convince people at that time to believe something that doesn't exist.

Mind you (everyone), you say I have can't prove the religion wrong but where is your proof that claims that there are really a God? It's just Jesus who was clever, not GOD! He MADE UP GOD and those people believed him. Stop asking for proofs anymore because firstly, you need to prove that something does exist.

So, Jesus died as a man, a Homo Sapiens.

His flesh died, because he took on the sins of the world.
the bible says in romans 6:23 the wages of sin is death...so ultimately sin is what makes men die...but Jesus was born into the world without sin. so how can he be unlocked from his body to return back to heaven?...he had to take on the sin of the world...otherwise he would have lived forever...but that was not his purpose for coming..He came to lay down his life

Jesus said ..no man took his life..but he layed it down
the bible says also flesh and blood would not inherit the kingdom of God ...there was no exception when it came to Jesus...because the word was a finished product in the mind of God already..so even though he was purposed before the world was fashioned...the word was finished...so truly flesh and blood will not and did not inherit the kingdom of heaven. since Jesus took our sins his flesh died...BUT on the third day he rose again with a new body ..a glorified body..not corrupt like the old one.

finally when a man dies it is just his flesh that dies ..not his spirit ...either way whether you die a sinner or saint you will live forever...some in paradise with God in a prepared place and some in evelasting torment ...either way you will live forever...so No God will not neither did he die or can he still die.He is the beginning and end of all things.God bless

Jesus was a prophet, he never claimed to be divine. Based on the first two commandments Jesus is just a man, a blessed one nevertheless, maybe even the most perfect man ever but in no way was he God. As you mentioned how can a God die and by another God to free mankind (God's creation)..?

"God is the Eternal, the Uncaused Cause of All Being.
He begets not, and neither is He begotten
and there is nothing that could be compared with Him."

GOD IS ONE.

Peace...

All the answers above are from the people who are brainwashed. Some have repled like "he died as a God in the form of man", it is the clymax of nescience. The reality is that if Jesus could be a God , anybody else could be God by becoming a man with qualities like Jesus. What was in Jesus is not understood by his foolowers, and that is the great pity.

He lived and died as both! As a man, He couldn't see beyond the grave (futuristically). In other words, He thought He'd never live again...Bible says so. But because He is God, He was able, of His own ability, to take up His life again. When I first learned about it, I have to admit, it was hard to understand...but that's 'cuz I'm mortal...He's not. Fact that He's God, He can do whatever He wants.

Jesus died as God in human form. And he didn't die to take a way sin. He died so believers wouldn't go to Hell for their sins.

If we had the connection with the father the way that Jesus did we could of taken on the sins of the world. Jesus was perfect although tempted in many ways. He is God in the form of man. It was harder for him to resist temptation then it is for us because HE, Jesus, being God could have called the whole thing off ( that is dying for our sins) Jesus loves us because he is God and God is our maker, designer, and beloved parent. He did not want us to suffer so he made himself low and came to earth, suffered, died, but rose to glory that we may do the same. We suffer the bad in this world, one day we will die, but if we believe in Jesus he will stand before God and plea our case on the day of judgement. One man can die for the world....Faith in this will lead you to his kingdom!
