God appears as the basis of your conscience every millisecond of every day. Want Him to appear ?... He's in you now, just look harder.
Yes you are God, we all live in a universe which is made up of His mind. Even Quantum physics, String theory are headed there. You are God but God is not you... infinitely larger.
You and your particles are completely made from That that Is. You are made up of Him, but you are just a small part, and he allows you free will because that is His/your nature, freedom is a part of Love.
The idea of God is one of the most beautiful thoughts that humankind is capable of. I like it.
And, He is not a stupid puppeteer trying to control every detail in our lives .
People get stupid when they are taught, and hurt, wrong ... then they think they are nothing and life has no value, how sad. They can do terrible things ... more than sad. Worse is someone who thinks they know everything.
But, God is never hateful ever and God is us ... all of us.
And , those who hurt others in the name of god are the stupidest people in the universe.
God doesn't create Imperfection we do, stupid thought creates stupid thought!.
Good night;
Jonnie
PS I hope the light is dawning. God bless you.

The fact that you pose the question would suggest that you have not had the experience of being in communion with God. The remainder of you comments seem to suggest that you have rejected him. That may just be the reason for the question in the first place. If you noticed the number of people that reached out to God on 9/11 you might note that it takes a disaster to get their attention. Hopefully you come to that realization before you experience such a disaster in your life.

"God created man for what purpose?" That is a question that we will know when we meet our maker.
"Why not appear before man every so often so that we know he exists?" God asks us to have faith in him. faith is belief that is not based on proof therefore why appear to man/woman.
"Can a God create imperfections?" No he cannot man in-perfects himself by misusing the free will God has given us.
"Mankind is and examples of GODS FAILURE to create perfection or is it?" No mankind is its own example of failure again free will comes into play.

how can you not see GOD everyday in everything that life is, with out GOD there is is life. GOD did not make the bad things that happen wars, rape, killers, that is all man made decisions. GOD gave man the option to choose so it is up to each person as to choose GOD over the devil. please never doubt for a moment GOD is here for everyone, GOD has no failures, only mankind can have failure when they choose to follow the devil instead of GOD. GOD is real and makes everyone different, and gives everybody a purpose in life, it is just up to the person to chose the right road and not the road to hell. if you have never experienced a miracle in your life, either you are not seeing, or you just plain don't believe in GOD, because i feel his strong arms and hands around me every day helping to make the right choices, i don't always listens as any child does not always listen, but i know GOD loves me and will never ever desert me.

If god were not invisible we would try to locate him and assasinate him. Think for a second, if a man or woman gets really powerful, human beings always begin to conspire and try to overthrow them. So sometimes it's better to be hidden or invisible so that you don't have to worry about being attacked.
The other possibility you must try to consider is this: god may be really tiny. Smaller than a bacteria. So he may be in plain sight but too small for us to observe directly. The size of something has nothing to with it's overall power and influence: Take the Aids virus for example. It is only visible under high magnification but it is holding our entire species hostage. That's power!
I hope that answers your question.

well, dunno lah! if u think so, and so believe in what you stated; so be it! but if ur looking for some good advice, there u have it! if god this n if god that is in your mind (n heart presumably); why not try to look around you; there's day n nite, fire n water, n even in video games, you could sense (if u sense hard enough) the existence of the Creator, so rubyruby, cheer up, don't waste ur lives with ur own believing in not believing; stop killing ur self with the faith of being unfaithful; at least, u still have the guts to say what u think and feel, that's a good sign!!! Just guide them under some guidance that could help u get thru the sleepless nites u been having

First of all, humans can't see God because he is a spirit. Adam didn't see God, but heard his voice. Even though we can't see Him, we have proof of his existence in the marvelous things he has created (Romans 1:19, 20). He created the first man and woman perfect, but endowed them with free will, to obey or disobey as they chose. Unfortunately for all of us, they chose to disobey, and as a result, they became imperfect, and passed that corruption to all of their descendents, including us today (Romans 5:12). Fortunately though, God has made arrangements to soon undo the effects of Adam's sin, based on the sacrificial death of his son (remainder of Romans chapter 5).

It is great that there is enough level headed people responding to this, that I do not need to further explain.
You sound like an athiest
Is there any hope for self-righteous, arrogant, judgmental people?
If you truly want to defy God dude... quit asking questions and being curious.... if you were a true athiest you wouldent care.... you still doubt in your humanistic thoughts... nice job capitalizing God everytime too bud.

You are not looking in the right places.
God is working in the hearts and minds of his faithful. God has revealed himself all around you. In the trees, in the sunsets/sunrises. In the mountains. In the beaches. In the beauty of creation in general. It was God who breathed life into man, and it is his same breath that you are breathing right now.
Furthermore, if you have faith, you might no where to look. However, you might not believe. If you believe that Holy Communion/the Eucharist is truly the body and blood of Jesus Christ then you can see him everytime you go to mass. Either that or everytime you go to an adoration chapel.
God is all around you. You just aren't paying close enough attention. I suggest you pray more often.

Why do you assume he dose not appear to certain of us. And if we shared that what good and what belief would come our way??? God is everywhere all the time and appears to many...although we don't seek the attention and disbelief of our fellow men. Its most and ultimately personal!
