Nothing Dark Green. I can't take it. I'm allergic to grass and dark green plants. I do like potato and can't seem to get enough of them. I have a strong dislike for fruits, they make me feel sick. From a medical standpoint should I be concerned about my health? Would taking vitamins be enough or do I need the ruffage ( I think is the term ) that some of the dark green plants provide? If so, what else could I eat that would provide the same type of result?

I do work out and am far from fat. I not worried about appearance but more what I can't see. It's not taste but a reflex I guess which best describes what happens when I try to eat most fruits and vegatables. I basically eat one large meal a day and that's it. I drink lots of water and am never at a loss for energy. Please let me stress it's not so much how I feel but just concern over prostate health and the like.
As far as doctors go I haven't seen one in 15 years but do pay for health insurance. I guess I should go.
Oh and I don't do shots, I never even had my ear pierced.

What about lettuce, thats not dark green. Also try bananas they have lots of natural vitamins. But do not rely on tablet vitamins for nutrients, they don't give you the same source that you get from green leafy vegatables. Also try to eat alot of red meat, like steak. potatoes have alot of carbohydrates in them,so try not to eat them everyday. You wont die from not eating green vegies, but you can get quite sick.so just try to eat as much of it as you can.

Your body NEEDS the fruits and veggies. There has to be something you can tolerate. Yes, i would say you need a good multi-vitamin and you should be concerned for your health. Your intestines/body need the fiber to stay healthy and flow properly. You don't want to end up with chronic constipation. You can also get fiber from certain grains/cereals. Of course you can buy the fiber stuff over-the-counter but isn't as good for you as the natural way.Looks like you are concerned for your health or you wouldn't have asked the question. Good luck to you and hang in there! You're heading in the right direction.

You should be concerned. You can't eat grass (it is smoked), unless you are a cattle or a goat and other similar herbivores. From dark green plants, you get Vitamin A (which you can also get from vitamin supplements--but they are supplements, only). Also, you get fiber from them that assist digestion and normal bowel movement. Consult your doctor if you are really allergic from such food; maybe it is just your sense of taste that's repelled by it.

Yes, but I would be more prone to telling you to get a b-complex shot every month from your doc, and then adding folic acid, etc.. in to the diet by supplementation.
Work with a dietition to figure out a plan for your needs.

YOU NEED FRUITS AND VEGS
potatoes are empty calories and carbs. they make you fat, and they are high in starch, so they are bad for you.... take a vitiman pill before you get a vitiman deficency..........
