It's too vague a question....depends on the type of guy he is. Is he a book lover? If he is, buy him a nice novel and write a thank you note in the book. If he is well-groomed, get him cuff links. If he has green fingers (metaphorically), get him something for the garden. If he's horny, wear a nice lingerie for him. If you want to give him the impression that you are girl-next-door, bake a batch of cookies for him.

sports is always a winner with the guys...favorite team logo on shirts, hats, and so on if you want to go all the way get him good tickets to a game. good luck
