I'm wondering if other people can capture my webcam. If so what programs are they using?

YUP. Anyone that can view your cam on Yahoo, Netmeeting, etc, can record it or snap screen shots and you'd never know it. I'm not sure what software people use to record, but I use Gadwin PrintSceen (not foe this purpose, but I could) for taking screen shots. I downloaded Gadwin free from http://download.com

Probably not, especially if you have a firewall turned on (Windows firewall, a linksys router, stuff like that).

People put up internet-enabled cameras and these get captured regularly. A webcam attached to a PC is not nearly as vulnerable.

If you are concerned, leave the camera pointed at the desk (or a pic of something boring) when not in use.

Yes if you let them. But its kinda hard to explain simply here.
Most webcams have a file on your computer that links to the video of your camera,. if someone knows your IP address AND the name of that file. they can watch whatever is being shown on the cam.
UNPLUG it when your not using it.

No, I'd say 90% chance they will not. Only way is if you broadcast it over the internet and if someone was going to hack to do that it wouldn't be easy.
