ok here goes..The van wouldn't start. the power windows and locks and all lights didn't work at this point. I replaced the battery, battery cables, starter, and the ignition assembly. Now the van runs, but I have no headlights/running lights, dash lights, interior lights, turnsignal/hazzard lights, radio, door locks, or odometer. The speedometer has a needle, but the odometer is digital and neither work. I have pulled and checked every fuse in the entire van and they were all fine. When i start the van all of the typical warning lights on the dash come on like they are supposed to, but no dash lights after that. Any idea where to look to find my problem?

Ford pretty much has shyed away from the fuse link wiring around the time of your truck but still had some that hooked to the starter solenoid on the side wall... step one is to make sure that you didn't accidently put some of them wires that hook to the starter solenoid on the wrong side (will only get power when started.)

The fuses may be good, but you don't know if you have power to those fuses.. next step would have to be a good book and a test light to see what fuses are lighting up and are they supposed to have power on them when the key is in the ignition as you have to narrow the suspects...

Also you did remember the fuse box that's a bear under the master cylinder's tubing if I remember? it's VERY hard to get out and most forget to check for it under the hood.

my guess is no power to the fuse marked PSOM in your owners manual...

you have corrosion on your batter terminals. you will get a terminal air purifier and clean them up very somewhat. additionally, try making use of a few baking soda in heat water and pouring that over the terminals. which will neutralize the acid and stop the posts from corroding any further for a jointly as. you are going to be able to desire to somewhat have a foul connection further alongside the battery cables, alongside with the place the floor cable hooks to the physique or engine block, or the place the constructive cable hooks to the starter solenoid. you have an extremely reasonable connection stunning now, that's why in elementary terms the warning lights will artwork, however the locks and headlights won't artwork. A small quantity of modern-day is able to get by using, yet once you attempt to attraction to too lots modern-day, the relationship splits.

Check the fuse links by the starter relay. Pull on the wires, if they are burnt they will pull apart.
