It does not make me feel old...It makes me wonder why people feel the need to "dumb down" on the internet. For crying out loud people.

It's pure laziness... For example>>> You would type or say "hello darling what would you like to do when we finish work this afternoon?" Whereas a young person would type or say "Ay darl wat ya wana do wen im done 4 da day?" They just couldnt be bothered using proper english... You are not old at all... Youth today are just becoming more lazy thanks to all the gadgets around now... Personally i think youth are not getting proper education at school anymore either...

Its our short way to wright stuff. instead of having to wright all da words. Its way better than talking right or even wrigthing. Its our way of communicatin with each orther by wrighting. let me just tell u dat its not da schools falt. we only wright like dat out of skool. N so wat if like to talk n wright like dat. U guys have ur way we us have our way of wrightin and talkin. so what im 13. Its just a way to cah with FRIENDS or other ppl.

Girlfriend, I hear what you are saying. I think it's the youngsters being lazy, instead of saying "with" and "that" I personally think they sound less educated talking like that.

well sometimes its just how people talk, otherwise it just makes it easier where we can chat faster and more in less time. u dont need to feel old. i dont understand all of them, takes me a minute to think. lol. and im only 14. lol. so ur not completely alone.

its all ghetto slang n all the white kids think they sound cool doin it but they dont they look n sound stupid i can see if dat is how u grew up but they dient grow up the way we did so dont know why they think we dont laugh at them fo it
