So I'm sure all of you have heard of myspace...well my ex just recently "requested to be my friend", we talked a few times, nothing big....I want to ask him to hang out, but then I found out he was messaging my friend...he also called her and said "do you guys want to go out tonight" I don't know if he's using her to get to me or what, to be honest I think it's very immature, but I still miss him, is asking him to hang out a waste of time? I always hear "if a guy wants to see you he will find a way too" So that being said I don't know if I should just back off or what??

It all depends if your friend will get really upset if you two are close friends then you will lose a friend. I would be careful he isn't trying to have both of you. If you like him go for it.

GIRLLLLLLL! You deserve better than that. If the guy won't come out and tell you that he misses you too or wants you back, then he obviously doesn't appreciate what he had with you before. But then again.. there's nothing wrong with hanging out with your ex. You should at least make the effort of trying to be friends first before anything else.

I would suggest that you not think too much about the matter. If he is still interested in being friends with you, or more, then he will have to step up and take some innitiative. To be totally honest, most guys are kind of oblivious...so he may not even know that he is sending you mixed signals. Either way, the best thing to do is let him come to you.

I was just in a similar situation! My ex and I talked for about 2 months and then I asked him out to lunch the other day! He has not replied back but we will see. I think that if you want something you should go after it.
