looking at me for a few seconds like prolonged eye cntact..winking at me, rubbing my shoulders...how do i know if hes flirting or just being nice? aren't peopple wh ork in those fields more accepting

Yes they are but they don't normally rub peoples shoulders! Just because you have a disability doesn't mean that you can't be attractive! Flirt back with this guy and see where it goes! Good Luck!

Sounds like he's flirting to me. I also use a chair full time at work and whenever my fiance and I go somewhere that takes a lot of walking. Just because your in a chair doesn't take anything away from you and your personality. Keep the faith and might be a good idea to ask this guy if he is indeed flirting with you.

I am not disabled and could never tell if someone was flirting with me! It sounds to me like he is interested. When you are just being nice, you don't do ALL the things that you describe. Good luck to you!

If he's looking at you with prolonged eye contact and winking @ you mostly he's flirting with you. I, myself am in a wheelchair and have experienced the same as what you described.

from one crippled girl to another, yes, he's flirting. the hard part is that sometimes non-disabled people flirt with us because they think it's being nice, making us feel good about ourselves. ugh. i had to learn to take time to get to know someone before i could tell if they were genuinely interested in me when they flirted or just doing their "good deed." i hope he's a good one!
