okay, so i've been dating this guy for about a year. we have an open relationship (no commitment, free to date other people). he's a great guy and i care about him a lot, but.......................

there is a mutual attraction between me and one of his good friends (his friend and i are also good friends). this friend and i have discussed it, and both admitted that we are strongly sexually attracted to one another, but that we don't want anyone to get hurt. i know that having sex with him would really devastate the man i'm dating, but, it is an open relationship........

so, my question is, should i just have sex with the friend behind the guy i'm dating's back??? it's getting to the point where the attraction is so strong that i had to stop hanging out with the friend for fear that something sexual would happen between us.

what to do?

Face the fact, the relationship is not as open, from an emotional standpoint, as you want to believe it is. Try having a serious talk with the man that you are involved with and come clean about everything. Make sure that the other man is the one that you really want to be with because there is a chance that the first fella may not want to be your rebound guy if things don't work out.

So, you obviously know that what you're doing is wrong and still want to?
Either break up with the guy you're with, or stop seeing the other one.
Though who knows why either would want to be with someone who is clearly pretty selfish.

How would you feel if this guy slept with one of your close friends? If you care about him you shouldn't even be thinking about anyone else. An open relationship is a disaster waiting to happen.

Is sex really worth "devastating" the man you care about? If yes, go for it.

why are you sleeping with men you dont have a commitment with anyway. How do you know how many women they are sleeping with. Grow up and take some responsibility for your life and health.

I WOU LD NOT HAVE ANY THING TO DO WITH THIS MAN, I KNOW THAT YOU AND YOUR BOYFRIEND HAVE A OPEN
ARRANGEMENT. BUT IF YOU HAVE FEELING FOR THIS
GUY YOU NEED TO BE HONEST WITH HIM, OR LET HIM
GO. AND DATE THE OTHER GUY, BUT YOU KNOW YOUR
ACTIONS MAY HURT OTHER PEOPLE.

Either break up with your guy first or ask him if it's ok.
