diamonds, clubs, hearts, spades

Although Texas Hold'em does not use this, this list is the 4 suits ranked from lowest to highest. I have used it in games such as Big Two, and in the Xbox game Mercenaries, there is a huge reference to this. In Hold'em, it is generally a tie if more than one person has the highest hand.

suits are not used in Texas hold em unless you are high carding for the button placement to start a game. They go in alphabetical order from weakest to strongest. Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades.

The suits of the cards hold no value in hold 'em I'm afraid. the only time the suits count in Hold' em is when you cut for the button or when you are coloring up chips. Other then that suits hold no value. But they are spades, hearts, diamonds, then clubs...

There is no order of suits in Texas Hold-em......If the hands are of the same rank, the pot is split. Pity that a lot of folks just guess.

Hold 'em does not rank suits.

For poker games that do, see the link below. But essentially it says there is no single standard ranking system. House rules should be established if you want to apply it.

When coming out of the box it's Spades, Diamonds, Clubs and Hearts... but as for rankings in texas hold'em it is (highest to lowest ranking) spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs.

From highest to lowest -- spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs.

This ordering is pretty typical of many card games like bridge.

The only poker game you will see suits be ranked really is in Stud based games (Seven-Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Razz, Soko, Five-Card Stud).
