I'm getting over some sort of respiratory/sinus infection that's been going all over my city. i'm like 6 or 7 days in, and all i'm dealing with now is sniffles and congestion, with a little cough. The length of recovery would appear viral, as I've not been on antibiotics and my symtoms are clearing and I'm feeling *much* better now than i was four days ago.
Is this a better safe than sorry, or does it sound like i'm all good?

seems like this is appearing all over ... even in my small town. your best bet is to take ibuprofen, drink lots (and i mean lots of liquids) and get adequate sleep. it will take some time but you will get over it. just take care of yourself and don't over do it!
